I have been obsessed with creating alcohol ink backgrounds. If you want to see more backgrounds you can find them HERE.

The first card I created I used lots of alcohol ink colors to create a rainbow affect. I used the alcohol inks on yupo paper and some blending solution to get the inks flowing.

The next card I used a die to try to get a cool lift affect. It wasn't a wow result but for sure a cool technique and I can't wait to try it with more dies.

I am going to split up this post with the video tutorial. You can see how I created all these cards in the video below.

The next card I created using the alcohol ink that was lifted from the first card. I wasn't sure I was going to use it but it is a really cool technique.

I had created the background with a Altenew background stamp and the lift-ink.

The next card is probably my favorite. I have probably 30 or more alcohol ink backgrounds ready to go and this background is one of my favorites. I love the colors and how the ink flowed.

For my next card I used the ink that was lifted from the above card and stamped it on some regular cardstock. I love the simplicity of the card below and the gradient of color.

The last card I used a blending tool and the lift-ink with a stencil to achieve this look. When doing this with the ink pad you can not re-ink the blending tool. The re-inker would be the best way to do this technique but it isn't available yet and I could not wait to try out the technique.
